Welcome to Highfield House Day Nursery and Pre-school

Highfield House Day Nursery & Pre-school is a family-run, independent early years setting located within a residential property near Great Brickhill. The nursery provides care and education for up to 56 children aged between 3 months and 5 years.

The setting offers a nurturing, home-from-home environment, supporting children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Its location, surrounded by open countryside, enables a strong emphasis on outdoor learning alongside indoor provision.

The nursery features a dedicated Outdoor Learning Centre, where children are encouraged to develop practical life skills through activities such as growing fruit and vegetables, which are prepared on site, and caring for animals. These experiences support children’s understanding of the natural world and promote independence, confidence and well-being.
